Compare the last two numbers with the first four. A huge share of every player and every match on Skipper arrived in the last thirty days, and the curve is still steepening. Every figure here is real, counted ball by ball from matches actually played. No inflated install counts and no vanity metrics. Be an opening batter. Your stats stick forever, even if your shots don't.

The Gap

PRO-LEVEL CRICKET.
AMATEUR-LEVEL TOOLS.

Watch a Sunday match at any maidan in India. The cricket is closer to first-class than you think. The discipline of the openers, the field placements, the way captains read the chase. Real cricket, played by real cricketers.

The software around it has not kept pace. Match logbooks pretending to be apps. Stats that stop at boundaries hit. Insights gated behind premium tiers. Scoring forms that take longer than the over.

Skipper closes that gap.

Insights & Analysis

SEE PAST
THE SCORECARD.

Skipper reads every ball you score and turns it into the kind of breakdown the professional game takes for granted. A player's whole career, a single match, the lot, laid out so you can actually use it.

  • Batting and bowling broken down phase by phase
  • Pitch maps, wagon wheels, and pace-against-spin matchups
  • An AI report written for every match, preview and post-game
  • An MVP score that names who really shaped the win
  • Leaderboards ranked all the way down to your district

Go Deeper

MORE THAN A SCOREBOOK.

Skipper does the basics fast. Then it keeps going, into the analysis, the write-ups, and the broadcast that used to belong only to the professional game.

By the way

And the price?

Nothing.

Scoring is free. Insights are free. Live sharing is free. Tournament management is free.

We do not paywall the features that help you improve. We do not sell your match data. We do not put ads in your scorecard.

Two things do cost money, and they are the ones that pay for all of the above: running a player auction, and running an academy past its first three months. Charging the organiser and the academy is what keeps the app free for the player.

For Organizers

RUN TOURNAMENTS
LIKE A BROADCAST.

Whether it's a local 8-team knockout or a city-wide league with 100+ teams, Skipper gives organizers the tools to run it professionally.

  • An IPL-style player auction: live bidding from every captain's phone, purses enforced, and the whole room on a projector
  • Points tables that update live as matches are scored, across groups, knockouts, and round-robin
  • Smart qualification scenarios that tell each team exactly what it needs to go through
  • Rosters, fixtures, and notifications managed from one place
  • Top scorers, best bowlers, and MVPs generated automatically for the awards night
  • Every match streamed to YouTube with the broadcast overlay

What's New

SHIPPING EVERY WEEK.

Skipper keeps getting better. Here are the latest updates.

v1.22.0 21 August 2026 ๐Ÿ”จ Auctions
Simpler setup, and a clearer auction room
Starting a tournament match takes fewer taps, because Skipper fills in the overs, the ball and the ground from the tournament itself. You can set how many teams qualify from a round, and qualification scenarios now use your tournament's real overs instead of assuming 20. In auctions, each tab does one job, every player has a screen of their own with the full bid history, and every change is saved with who made it. Scoring is simpler for box and tennis ball cricket.
v1.21.3 4 August 2026
Auction upgrades, and you can now take payments
Charge an entry fee for your auction and get paid into your own bank account, with refunds handled for you. Academies can collect fees in the app. The auctioneer's screen has been rebuilt, team owners get a private dashboard, and the big screen adds a light theme, team standings between players, and a bigger sold moment. Plus bowling limits that suit your squad size, a safer undo, and a set of crash fixes.
v1.21.0 27 July 2026
The auction table, and a stream you can fix from where you sit
Run an IPL-style player auction for your tournament with live bidding, purse limits, and a broadcast view for the big screen. Know how much of your livestream is really reaching YouTube, get told the moment it stalls, and recenter the camera or mute the mic without walking to the tripod. Plus undo a match you ended by mistake, revise a chase target without cutting overs, and wickets that read the way a scorer would write them.
