Nine new stream themes, safer scoring, super over fix
Nine new scoreboard themes for your live stream, with sponsors and the Skipper logo placed like the World Cup theme. A red banner now warns you if your phone's storage is full and balls aren't saving. Super over results show correctly, you can add officials by phone number even if they're new to Skipper, and highlight clips play in the right order. Plus fantasy for auction tournaments and welcome messages for academy families.

Share your tournament, follow a team, and start your own club
Send the fixtures and the final results as pictures with a QR code, and make award cards for the tournament leaders. Follow any team to get its matches on Home and a notification when it plays. Anyone can start a club, and a finished match has a one-page Match Report to share.

Academies for more sports, a new auction room, and easier streaming
An academy can now run chess, badminton and athletics alongside cricket, and every new student gets their own account with the parent’s consent. Auctions have a new big-screen room with 39 themes. "Stream this match" explains how to set up a second phone as the camera.

Pay for auctions and academy plans in the app, and better highlight clips
Organisers can now unlock an auction inside the app, and academies can pick a monthly plan after a free first month. Wicket clips start earlier, four and six clips run longer, and clips carry on uploading when the connection comes back. Share videos are made about four times faster.

Share cards, tournament live streaming, and match breaks
Any player in a finished match can turn their performance into a picture card to share, and a player who wins a match award gets an award card too. Open a finished match, go to Summary, and tap a player to start one.

New sign-up, your own wide rules, bigger tournaments
Sign-up now asks what you want to do on Skipper and takes you there. Find your friends from your phone book. Set your own wide and no-ball rules. Tournaments take up to 1024 teams, you can add a match played outside the round, and net run rate is worked out correctly when an innings ends early. DRS Cam works on recent Samsung phones.

Simpler setup, and a clearer auction room
Starting a tournament match takes fewer taps, because Skipper fills in the overs, the ball and the ground from the tournament itself. You can set how many teams qualify from a round, and qualification scenarios now use your tournament's real overs instead of assuming 20. In auctions, each tab does one job, every player has a screen of their own with the full bid history, and every change is saved with who made it. Scoring is simpler for box and tennis ball cricket.

Auction upgrades, and you can now take payments
Charge an entry fee for your auction and get paid into your own bank account, with refunds handled for you. Academies can collect fees in the app. The auctioneer's screen has been rebuilt, team owners get a private dashboard, and the big screen adds a light theme, team standings between players, and a bigger sold moment. Plus bowling limits that suit your squad size, a safer undo, and a set of crash fixes.

Run an IPL-style player auction for your tournament with live bidding, purse limits, and a broadcast view for the big screen. Know how much of your livestream is really reaching YouTube, get told the moment it stalls, and recenter the camera or mute the mic without walking to the tripod. Plus undo a match you ended by mistake, revise a chase target without cutting overs, and wickets that read the way a scorer would write them.
